Panadol Junior 250 mg suppositories 10 pcs
It is used to reduce the fever that accompanies the flu and colds, as well as infectious diseases of childhood (eg chickenpox, whooping cough, measles and mumps) and vaccinations. It is also suitable for relieving pain accompanying tooth cutting, toothache, sore throat from the flu and colds and headaches. The product is intended for children weighing more than 15 kg.
Dosage and method of use
Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, 1 suppository is given to children weighing 15-30 kg up to 4 times a day at 6 hour intervals. Children weighing more than 30 kg are given 1-2 suppositories up to 4 times a day at 6 hour intervals. The minimum interval between two doses is 4 hours. No more than 4 doses should be given in 24 hours.
Ingredients
The active substance is paracetamol 250 mg per suppository and the other ingredient is hardened fat. Read the package leaflet carefully.
Contraindication
Do not use this medicine if your child is allergic to paracetamol or any of the other ingredients, to severe liver disease (including acute jaundice), to rectal bleeding, to inflammation of the colon (proctocolitis). Due to the active substance content, the product is not intended for children weighing up to 15 kg.
