PARACETAMOL ACCORD 500 mg 24 effervescent tablets
Paracetamol Accord contains paracetamol, which belongs to a group of medicines called analgesics and antipyretics. Paracetamol Accord is used to relieve mild to moderate pain and / or fever, ie cold fever, headache, toothache, menstrual pain, muscle and joint pain.
The pack contains 24 soluble tablets.
Dosage and method of use
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
The recommended dose is:
Adults and adolescents over 50 kg body weight (over 15 years):
1-2 tablets (500 mg - 1 g) as needed every 4 to 6 hours.
It is usually not necessary to exceed a dose of 3 g of paracetamol per day (6 tablets per 24 hours).
The maximum dose is 8 tablets (4 grams) in 24 hours.
Children:
Dosage in children should be based on body weight and appropriate dosage form. Information on the age of children in the weight group below is for guidance only.
Children over 40 kg body weight (over 12 years):
1 tablet (500 mg) every 4-6 hours, 3-4 times in 24 hours. The maximum dose is 5 tablets (2.5 grams) in 24 hours. The dosing interval must always be at least 4 hours.
You must consult a doctor if you do not feel better or overwhelmed after 3 days.
The maximum daily dose must not be exceeded due to the risk of severe liver damage. If you have severe kidney or liver problems, the dose needs to be reduced or the interval between doses needs to be extended. Talk to your doctor.
Method of administration
Oral administration. The tablets should be placed in a glass of water and allowed to dissolve completely before drinking.
Ingredients
Paracetamol Accord contains the active substance paracetamol. Each tablet contains 500 mg of paracetamol.
The other ingredients are: citric acid (E 330), sodium bicarbonate, sorbitol (E 420), sodium carbonate, povidone, simethicone, sodium saccharin, lemon flavoring powder (natural and synthetic flavoring substances, maize maltodextrin, acacia, tocopherol alpha), macrogol.
