Prontosan W solution is intended for cleaning, moisturizing and decontaminating skin wounds. It is used for cleaning and moisturizing chronic wounds, for conservative wetting of bandages and covering wounds, compresses, gauze, tampons, sponges, gels or hydrophilic material. It can also be used with a bandage to loosen a sticky cover or an encrusted wound dressing.
Using the solution is painless and well tolerated by allergy sufferers.

Dosage and method of use
The application should be carried out until the wound is visibly clean.
For large and hard-to-reach wounds, it is recommended to bathe the whole body in Prontosan solution for at least 15 minutes.
The solution is used undiluted.
Ingredients
The active ingredients are Aqua purificata, Midopropyl betaine and Polyhexanide.
