Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) is a water-soluble vitamin. Pyridoxine is important in the activity of various enzymes that are necessary for the breakdown and utilization of proteins, sugars and fats from food and for the conversion of storage sugars in the liver and muscles into energy, for the normal function of the central nervous system and skin. Vitamin B6 is important for the production of red blood cells and antibodies. Vitamin B6 deficiency is manifested by weakness, irritability, skin diseases, inflammation of the oral cavity and tongue, and lip cracking.
Dosage and method of use
Adults usually take a 1/2 tablet daily.
Dosage in children varies depending on the severity of the disease and the weight of the child.
Ingredients
The active substance is pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6) 20 mg per 1 tablet.
The other ingredients are lactose monohydrate, corn starch, gelatin, talc, aluminum stearate and disodium edetate dihydrate.
Contraindication
Do not take Pyridoxin Medicines if you are allergic to pyridoxine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
