REGULAX picosulphate is a remedy for constipation for short-term use when normal regime measures such as diet adjustment (more fiber, more liquids) and increased physical activity do not help relieve.

The laxative REGULAX contains the active substance sodium picosulphate, which belongs to the so-called contact or stimulant laxatives. Laxatives of this type act exclusively in the intestine, where they affect water absorption. This results in a thinner consistency and an increase in stool volume, and consequently peristalsis is stimulated. The effect of REGULAX usually occurs after 10-12 hours, so it is ideal to give it overnight for morning relief.

REGULAX picosulfate can be purchased as drops or pressed cubes, both in several pack sizes. REGULAX pressed cubes contain thickened plum juice, which gives them a pleasant fruity taste and smells of figs and lemon.

In the long-term ill, the elderly and children it is necessary to consult the physician for the duration of use and the amount of the product.
