Grippoforce Hot Drink Syrup is a traditional herbal medicine to relieve the symptoms of colds and flu-like infections. This medicine is a traditional herbal medicine that is registered exclusively for the specified areas of application based on long-term use. This medicine is used in adults, adolescents and children aged 12 and over.

Contraindications
Grippoforce Hot Drink Syrup must not be taken
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to red coneflower, plants from the daisy family such as marigold, chamomile, arnica or dandelion or any of the other ingredients of this medicine mentioned in section 6,
- in progressive diseases that affect the entire body or several organs (systemic diseases such as tuberculosis, sarcoidosis),
- in autoimmune diseases (inflammatory diseases of the connective tissue [collagenoses], multiple sclerosis),
- for diseases of the immune system with weakened immune function (immune deficiencies such as AIDS disease, HIV infection),
- in the case of immunosuppression (suppressed immune system, e.g. after organ or bone marrow transplantation, chemotherapy for cancer),
- for diseases of the white blood cells (e.g. leukemia-like diseases, leukoses),
- in children under 1 year old.
Interactions
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using any other medicines, have recently taken/used any other medicines or might take/use any other medicines. No interactions are known. No interaction studies have been conducted.
pregnancy and breast feeding period
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. Since there are insufficient data, use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended.
Application
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or exactly as your doctor or pharmacist tells you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.
Young people aged 12 and over and adults:
- Day 1 to 3: 5 ml 5 times daily
- Days 4 to 10: 5 ml 3 times daily
Side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.
Not known (frequency cannot be estimated from the available data): Hypersensitivity reactions such as skin rash may occur; hives; Stevens-Johnsons syndrome (severe skin disease with general health problems, fever and painful blisters, especially in the mouth, eyes and genital area); Angioedema of the skin (allergic, painful swelling of the skin and mucous membranes, especially in the facial area); bronchospasm (shortness of breath due to narrowing of the airways); Asthma; Anaphylactic shock (allergic (hypersensitivity) reaction, often accompanied by dizziness, nausea and possibly shortness of breath) can occur. Echinacea can cause allergic reactions in people who are prone to it.
Additional side effects in children: The frequency, nature and severity of side effects in children are believed to be the same as those in adults. No specific risks have been reported in children over 1 year of age
composition
The active ingredient is: thick extract from fresh red echinacea herb and fresh red echinacea root
5 ml contains: 60 mg thick extract of red coneflower (Echinacea purpurea L. (Moench)), corresponding to 300 to 600 mg of fresh red coneflower herb and 17 to 29 mg of fresh red coneflower root, extractant ethanol 57% m/m
The other ingredients are: sucrose, purified water, concentrated elderberry juice, citric acid monohydrate, modified starch, medium chain triglycerides, potassium sorbate.
