Actolind® w Gel is a protective, decontaminating, moisturizing gel designed for the effective care and support of acute, chronic and infected wounds and burns . With its antimicrobial effect and unique combination of polyhexanide and poloxamer, it offers a synergistic approach that helps to ensure the ideal environment for faster wound healing. The gel creates a protective barrier on the wound that prevents the entry of harmful microorganisms. Thanks to its ability to keep the wound clean and moist, Actolind® w Gel is an effective aid in preventing infection.

Actolind® w Gel is suitable for application in combination with Actolind® w Solution.
Composition
Poloxamer, polyhexamethylenebiguanide (polyhexanide, 0.1%) water and excipients.
Use
- Before application, it is recommended to clean the wound with an irrigation solution to remove dirt and deposits.
- Apply the necessary layer of gel to the wound bed.
- Apply the necessary dressing or bandage.
- Actolind® w Gel can remain on the wound surface until the next dressing change.
Actolind® w Gel does not prevent granulation or epithelialization.
Notice
Read the instructions for use carefully before use. For external use on the skin only. Do not use for infusion or injection. Patients with hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients should not use the product. Do not swallow! Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if the protective seal under the cap is broken or missing. Once opened, use within 8 weeks. If there is a change in odor, appearance (cloudiness) or other unusual changes during use, stop using the product immediately. Close the tube immediately after use to prevent contamination. The edge of the tube should not come into direct contact with the wound or other surfaces to prevent contamination. Tubes that have come into direct contact with the wound or have been otherwise contaminated should be discarded. Keep only in the original packaging. Protect from sunlight. Dispose of in accordance with local regulations. Due to insufficient clinical information, Actolind® products should only be used in newborns and infants under strict and careful medical supervision.
