In the Czech Republic it is quite unique in its composition. It contains a combination of red rice extract and omega 3 fatty acids.
It is based on the extract of red rice, which, due to the action of the yeast Monascus purpureus, contains a high amount of substances called monacolins. The main active ingredient that contributes to maintaining normal blood cholesterol levels is Monakolin K. A beneficial effect is achieved with 10 mg of Monacolin K per day.
OMEGA 3
Another active ingredient of Cholesten is highly concentrated fish oil MEG-3TM containing OMEGA 3 unsaturated fatty acids DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid).
