Alavis LifeFactor is a veterinary product for dogs and cats with niacin – a bioactive form of vitamin B3 . Niacin is the so-called precursor of NAD (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide), which is a very important and indispensable substance involved in the energy metabolism of cells and thus in the functioning of the entire organism. It is important in the catabolism of fats, carbohydrates, proteins and is also important in cell signaling and DNA repair . With increasing age, the amount of NAD in the body decreases and the organism ages , which is defined, among other things, as a decreasing ability to repair defects in the organism and replace damaged or dead cells with new ones. Many studies have shown that increasing NAD+ levels will increase insulin sensitivity, reverse mitochondrial dysfunction and prolong life .* NAD+ levels can be increased by activating enzymes that stimulate NAD+ synthesis, inhibiting the enzyme (CD38) that degrades NAD+, and supplementing NAD precursors.

Niacin administration may contribute to:

  • to reduce the risk of developing cognitive disorders
  • to reduce the signs of aging
  • to improve vitality

Dosage

Administer the product directly into the animal's mouth, with a small piece of food, or you can open the capsule and pour the contents into the food.

Recommended dosage by weight:

0 – 5 kg 1 capsule every other day
5 – 10 kg 1 capsule daily
10 – 25 kg 2 capsules daily
25 – 40 kg 3 capsules daily
40 and more kg 4 capsules daily

Composition

Active ingredient (1 capsule): Bioactive form of vitamin B3 (niacin – nicotinamide acid) 202 mg.
