Allergan JUVEDERM VOLBELLA LIDO 2 x 1.0ml

Juvéderm Volbella Lido is a versatile treatment. It comprehensively revitalizes patients' skin: it brightens it, reduces wrinkles around the eyes, and moisturizes tissues. The treated area gains a fresher appearance for up to a year.

The VYCROSS technology used in the product utilizes a lower concentration of hyaluronic acid to minimize any possible swelling after the treatment. This allows patients to return to their daily routines more quickly while achieving a natural, refreshed, and plump facial appearance.

Indications

Juvederm Volbella Lido is used in treatments aimed at:

• correcting the shape of the lips and slightly increasing their volume,
• smoothing vertical lines and depressions in the corners of the mouth,
• reduction of crow's feet and glabellar wrinkles,
• revitalization and improvement of the appearance of the skin around the eyes,
• smoothing out wrinkles around the eyes.

Dosage

The agent is administered by injection into the dermis, the mucous membrane of the lips and the submuscular/preperiosteal part of the tear trough/infraorbital area.

It is recommended to use a 32G Ω needle for the procedure. Depending on the preferred injection technique, a 30G or 30G Ω cannula can also be used.

Results last up to 12 months.

Contraindications

The preparation should not be used in patients:

• hypersensitive or allergic to any of the ingredients,
• suffering from untreated epilepsy,
• prone to hypertrophic scarring,
• with diseases, inflammations and active skin infections at the treatment site or in the surrounding area.

Pregnant or breastfeeding women and children should not be treated with the drug.

Interactions with other products

The product should not be used concurrently with laser treatment, deep chemical peeling or dermabrasion.

It is recommended to avoid injecting the agent into an area that has been treated with a permanent filling.

Hyaluronic acid should not be used with quaternary ammonium salts (including benzalkonium chloride).

It is essential to avoid contact of Juvéderm® ULTRA 2 with these substances or with medical-surgical instruments that have been disinfected with agents containing these compounds.

Product composition

Juvederm Volbella Lido contains:

• 15 mg of hyaluronic acid,
• 3 mg lidocaine hydrochloride
• 1 ml of phosphate buffer, pH 7.2.

Package contents

Two pre-filled syringes containing 1 ml of the preparation each.
