Negative effects of taking medication?
Grapefruit juice has gained a bad reputation due to its interactions with numerous medications. The furocoumarins that are mainly responsible for this are not contained in the grapefruit seed extract. However, since the narginine also contained in the extract could possibly interact with medication, grapefruit seed extract should at least be taken with a time delay or, in the case of slow-release medication, avoided altogether.
