Light-dried mushroom is a vegan source of vitamin D. Mushrooms like champignons have an interesting ability that farmers have always used to get through the low-light winter season: if mushrooms - such as champignons - are dried under UVB radiation, they accumulate plant-based vitamin D2. And according to the latest studies, this is just as effective as animal vitamin D3. Both are converted into the active form in the body.
