Red yeast rice has been an important ingredient in Chinese cuisine for hundreds of years. When ground, the red grains make food and drinks aromatic, keep them fresh and give them an appetizing color.

Red mold rice is not a separate rice variety. It is formed when normal rice is fermented with special molds.
On the one hand, fermentation produces the typical red color, on the other hand, the process produces monacolin K and a whole range of other substances.

red mold rice (5% monacolin K) corresponds to 10 mg
monacolin K: 200 mg
coenzyme Q10: 60 mg
vitamin B3 (niacinamide): 50 mg
vitamin B6 (pyridoxine HCl): 12.1 mg
folic acid ( Pteroylmonoglutamic acid): 400 µg
Vitamin B12 (Methylcobalamin.H2O): 9 µg

Application
