  • Carduus marianus (milk thistle) acts on the liver and bile. The drug picture shows nausea, retching, vomiting of greenish-yellow mucus, colicky pain and diarrhea.
  • Berberis (sour thorn or barberry) is a remedy that is used homeopathically for diseases of the upper abdomen, primarily of the liver and bile. Berberis is particularly effective against gallstones and the colic they cause.
  • Belladonna (deadly nightshade) also acts on the liver, bile and pancreas. Especially spasmodic pains belong to the preferred drug picture of belladonna. The drug picture in the area of ​​the digestive tract is vomiting with cold sweat, aversion to milk and fatty foods, and a painful, swollen abdomen that is sensitive to touch.
