Askina Barrier Cream is a white concentrated cream which, when applied to the skin, forms a protective layer and moisturizes dry skin.

Askina Barrier Cream acts as a protective agent and moisturizing barrier :

• Against maceration caused by incontinence or body fluids.
• To protect sensitive and fragile skin and very dry skin, including the area around the wounds to prevent skin irritation.

Apply to intact skin.

How to use Askina Barrier Cream?

Clean the skin as needed. Dry it thoroughly. Then apply a thin layer of Askina Barrier Cream so that the cream covers the entire affected area. In the areas of the skin folds, first gently smooth the skin, then apply the cream, and let it dry before releasing the skin back to its normal position.

If the skin is oily to the touch, too much cream has been applied. Simply remove excess cream with napkins.

The time of repeated application depends on the frequency of cleaning and the replacement of the secondary cover. For frequently cleansed skin, daily re-application may be necessary, in case of less frequent cleansing, the cream can be re-applied after 2 to 3 days.

Contraindication

Askina Barrier Cream must not be used on infected skin. If the skin condition worsens or does not improve within 7 days, consult a specialist. Avoid contact with eyes. For external use only. If swallowed, seek medical advice. Do not use if package is damaged or opened. The use of other barrier creams, ointments or solutions may reduce the effectiveness of Askina Barrier Cream. Do not use if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. The cream may increase the adhesion of some adhesive products.

Purified water, ethylhexylisononanoate, hexamethyldisiloxane, polyisobutylene, VP eicosane copolymer, hydroxyethyl acrylate / sodium acryloyl dimethyl taurate, copolymer, butylene glycol, oleth-3-phosphate, phenoxyethanol, hydrogenated styrene / isoprene copolymer, allantoin carbamate, EDTA.
