Prontosan acute gel by B. Braun is a quick aid for superficial wounds.

Prontosan acute wound gel is a healing-stimulating hydrogel. It covers the wound, so it optimally hydrates it for proper healing, the gel is intended for the treatment of light burns and superficial wounds. Unlike ointments, hydrogels allow drainage of wound secretions and do not represent a breeding ground for microorganisms. Thanks to the autolytic effect, they remove the biofilm that forms on the surface of the wound. Thanks to it, the surface of the wound is clean and cooled.

Application:

• for cleaning, moisturizing and cooling superficial wounds and minor burns;
• Intraoperative cleaning and irrigation of wounds.
