Baby Luuf Essential Oils Balm 30 g

Baby Luuf essential oil balm contains the essential oils from eucalyptus, thyme and the resin balm of various pine species as active ingredients. The active ingredients are partly absorbed through the skin and cause increased blood circulation, which causes a warming feeling. On the other hand, the essential oils, as highly volatile components, reach the lungs directly from the treated body parts via the air we breathe.

The effect of Baby Luuf essential oil balm is bronchospasmolytic (spasmolytic in the bronchi), antiseptic (germ-inhibiting) and expectorant. The stuck mucus is liquefied and can be coughed up more easily. Furthermore, breathing is made easier and the urge to cough is alleviated.

This medicine is a traditional herbal medicine that is registered exclusively for the specified areas of application based on long-term use.
This medicine is used in children from 6 months of age to 2 years of age.

Contraindications

Baby Luuf essential oil balm must not be used

• if the child is allergic (hypersensitive) to turpentine oil, eucalyptus oil, thyme oil or any of the other ingredients of Baby Luuf essential oil balm mentioned in section 6
• if you have previously experienced febrile seizures or epilepsy.

Application

Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or exactly as your doctor or pharmacist tells you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.

The recommended dose is
children from. 6 months:
About ½ to 1 teaspoon, depending on the child's age. Baby Luuf essential oil balm should be used 2-3 times a day, at least in the morning and evening.

Method of application
For use on the skin.
Apply Baby Luuf essential oil balm to the chest and back and rub gently. The effect is further improved if the chest and back are covered with a pre-warmed bodysuit or warm towels.

Duration of use
If the child's symptoms worsen or there is no improvement after 5 days, contact your doctor.

Use in children under 6 months of age
Use in children under 6 months of age is not recommended due to lack of data.

Children from the age of 3, teenagers, adults:
The Luuf balms are tailored to different age groups. There is Children's Luuf Balm for children aged 3 and over and Luuf Essential Oil Balm is available for teenagers and adults.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Baby Luuf essential oil balm can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them. Hypersensitivity reactions such as redness and skin irritation are possible. The frequency of occurrence is not known.

  15 mg of eucalyptus oil (Eucalypti aetheroleum), 40 mg of turpentine oil (Terebinthinae aetheroleum), 10 mg of thymol-type thyme oil (Thymi typo thymolo aetheroleum).
• The other ingredients are:
  cypress oil, marjoram oil, nutmeg oil, white petroleum jelly and hard paraffin
