BECLOMET NASAL AQUA 50 mcg, Nasal Spray, 23 ml
Beclomet Nasal Spray is used to prevent and treat seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, including hay fever and vasomotor rhinitis. When applied topically to the nasal mucosa, they reduce its inflammation and swelling.
The pack contains 200 doses (23 ml).
Dosage and method of use
Insert the nasal applicator into one nostril and block the other nostril by gently squeezing your index finger. Inject once and inhale firmly and deeply through your nose. Take the applicator out of the nostril and exhale through your mouth. If you feel the product leaking from your nose, inhale gently through your nose. Repeat for the second nostril.
The usual dose for adults and children from 6 years of age is 1-2 injections into each nostril twice a day. The total daily dose should not exceed eight injections.
Ingredients
The active substance is beclomethasone dipropionate. The other ingredients are polysorbate 80, glucose, dispersed cellulose, benzalkonium chloride, sodium hydroxide or hydrochloric acid (for pH adjustment) and purified water.
Contraindication
Do not take Beclomet Nasal Aqua if you are allergic to beclomethasone dipropionate or any of the other ingredients of this medicine. It is not recommended for use in children under 6 years of age.
