The Swiss company Merz Aesthetics' fillers are manufactured using Dynamic Cross-Linking Technology, which creates a single-phase, cohesive, multi-dense gel (Cohesive Polydensified Matrix). This results in products with the right balance of cohesiveness, elasticity, and plasticity, adapting to the appropriate skin layers. These products have an appropriate safety profile and reduced pain at the injection site. The Belotero line was approved by the FDA in 2011.
