he Bisolvon® solution is used to treat thick mucus from coughing up a cold.
With this productive, mucous cough, viscous mucus builds up in the bronchi. Coughing is the body's natural response to get rid of the stuck mucus. Bisolvon® solution supports him in this. The tasteless solution can be taken mixed with a cold or warm drink - such as water, tea, fruit juice, milk, etc. In addition, the Bisolvon® solution can also be inhaled using an aerosol device (electrical inhalation device for cold nebulization) so that the expectorant effect can develop directly in the lungs themselves.

field of use

Bromhexine hydrochloride, the active ingredient in Bisolvon solution, is based on the active ingredient in an Indian medicinal plant. In acute or chronic diseases of the respiratory tract, it loosens the accumulated and sticky mucus from the bronchi and makes it easier to cough up.

Contraindications

Do not take Bisolvon if you are allergic to bromhexine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).

interactions

If Bisolvon solution is used together with medicines that inhibit the urge to cough (antitussives), a dangerous build-up of secretion can occur due to the restricted cough reflex. You may therefore only take Bisolvon solution together with antitussives after consulting your doctor.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

The available data do not indicate any possible effects on fertility.
