Candibene 200 mg vaginal tablets are used to treat yeast or fungal infections of the vagina, which are most often manifested by itching in the area of the external genitals and vagina, burning, redness and swelling of the vagina and whitish discharge from the vagina. These infections most often arise as a result of antibiotic treatment, in connection with diabetes, excessive consumption of sweets, when using hormonal contraceptives with a high dose of estrogens, after a bath in polluted water or can arise when wearing airtight and tight underwear. Candibene 200 mg vaginal tablets are designed for women and girls from 12 years of age.
Dosage
Women and girls from 12 years of age apply 1 vaginal tablet per day for 3 consecutive days, preferably in the evening before bedtime. To ensure full therapeutic success, the prescribed dosage should be followed and treatment should not be interrupted after symptoms have resolved. To cope with the disease, simultaneous treatment of sexual partners with the use of local application of clotrimazole is necessary. If the symptoms of the disease persist for more than 3 days, consult a doctor about further use.
Composition
The active substance is clotrimazole 200 mg in one vaginal tablet.
Excipients are corn starch, lactose monohydrate, adipic acid, sodium bicarbonate, copovidone, magnesium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide, polysorbate 80.
Notification
Candibene 200 mg may reduce the safety of some contraceptive methods, e.g. when using spermicidal vaginal products, a condom or a pessary. This effect is temporary and lasts only at the time of treatment.
