The medicinal product Canesten GYN 1 day soft vaginal capsule effectively treats yeast infection with just 1 application . The high content of the active substance clotrimazole in one application (500 mg) ensures an effect for several days. This relieves unpleasant burning, itching, discharge and other symptoms of vaginal yeast infection. Comfortable application .
In addition to its main effect on vaginal yeast infections, clotrimazole also acts against vaginal inflammations caused by certain bacteria such as streptococci, staphylococci, Gardnerella vaginalis and Bacteroides.
Vaginal yeast infection in women (mycosis/candidiasis) often occurs when the microbial balance of the vaginal environment is disturbed and there is an overgrowth of commonly present yeasts (most often Candida albicans).
Vaginal mycosis is not a sexually transmitted infection. It can be unpleasant (itching and discharge), but in most cases it is relatively easy to treat.

Dosage and method of use
Canesten GYN 1 day soft vaginal capsule is suitable for girls from 16 years of age without consulting a doctor. It is also suitable for girls 12-16 years of age on the recommendation of a doctor . The application is done once, preferably in the evening before going to bed. The capsule is inserted as deep as possible into the vagina using the applicator.
Pregnant women in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters insert a soft vaginal capsule into the vagina without an applicator.
In the 1st trimester, it is recommended to start treatment under the supervision of a doctor.
Treatment with Canesten GYN 1 day soft vaginal capsule should not be carried out during menstruation. Tampons, vaginal douches, spermicides or other preparations intended for vaginal use should not be used at the same time as this product. Sexual intercourse should be avoided while using Canesten GYN 1 day soft vaginal capsule. The soft vaginal capsule should not be swallowed.
Composition
The active substance is clotrimazole. One soft vaginal capsule contains clotrimazole 500 mg.
The excipients are: gelatin, glycerol, white petrolatum; liquid paraffin, purified water, titanium dioxide (E171), quinoline yellow (E104), sunset yellow (E110), lecithin (E322), medium chain triglycerides.
Contraindication
Read the package leaflet carefully.
If the product is applied to the nipples, the breasts should be washed before breastfeeding.
Do not use Canesten GYN 1 day if you are allergic to clotrimazole or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
Canesten GYN 1 day is not recommended for use during menstruation. Treatment should be stopped before the onset of menstruation.
Do not use tampons, vaginal douches, spermicides or other products intended for vaginal use during treatment with Canesten GYN 1 day.
Avoid sexual intercourse while using this medicine, as the infection could be transmitted to your sexual partner.
The contraceptive properties of latex contraceptives, such as condoms and pessaries, may be reduced.
