What is CoCurmin® Colo?
CoCurmin® Colo is a food for special medical purposes (balanced diet) for dietary management of intestinal complaints after a colonoscopy.
After a medically forced bowel emptying in preparation for a colonoscopy, the eight living bacterial strains contained in CoCurmin® Colo ensure a rapid reconstruction of the intestinal flora disturbed by bowel emptying.
By coating them with enteric-coated capsules, the bacteria reach the intestine in a viable form.
Ingredients: Lacto- and Bifidobacteria* powder, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, Curcuma longa extract, Bioperine black pepper extract
*Bacterial strains:
Bifidobacterium longum
Bifidobacterium infantis
Bifidobacterium breve
Lactobacillus acidophilus
Lactobacillus rhamnosus
Lactobacillus casei
Streptococcus thermophilus
Lactococcus lactis
How to use CoCurmin® Colo
It is best to start taking CoCurmin® Colo on the day of the colonoscopy, but only AFTER the examination!
Take one capsule whole three times a day with plenty of liquid. The income should be spread throughout the day and preferably before meals.
CoCurmin® Colo capsules should be taken for at least one week without interruptions. Since CoCurmin® Colo is a food for special medical purposes (balanced diet), a longer intake is generally possible.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose!
Curcumin, is the active ingredient of the turmeric, which has been used for thousands of years in traditional medicine. Curcumin has a positive effect on the composition of the intestinal flora by promoting the growth of beneficial bifidobacteria and lactobacilli.
