Cotylena 10 mg/g cream is used to treat infections caused by fungal microorganisms, yeasts, fungi and certain bacteria. These are inflammations of the external genitals in women, inflammation of the glans penis in men and fungal diseases (dermatomycosis), occurring most often in places of easy steaming, which can be manifested by redness, itching and sometimes peeling of the skin. Cotylena 10 mg/g cream can be used by adults and children from 2 years of age.
Dosage
In yeast skin infections, the cream is applied 2-3 times a day to the affected areas in a thin layer, usually 1-4 weeks depending on the type of disease. In inflammation of the external genitals in a woman and inflammation of the glans penis in a man, the cream is applied 2-3 times a day to the affected areas in a thin layer for 1-2 weeks. Do not use the product for more than 4 weeks without consulting your doctor.
Composition
The active substance is clotrimazole 10 mg in 1 g of cream.
Other components are sorbitan stearate, polysorbate 60, artificial sperm whale, cetylstearyl alcohol, benzyl alcohol, octyldodecanol, purified water.
Notification
Cotylena 10 mg/g cream contains cetylstearyl alcohol, which may cause skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis).
