Cotylena 100 mg 6 vaginal tablets

Cotylena vaginal tablets are used for the symptoms of fungal infections and inflammation of the vagina of fungal origin in adult women and girls from 12 years of age. Vaginal mycosis is an unpleasant disease of the vagina, the most common cause of which is yeast (Candida albicans). The infection most often occurs as a result of antibiotic treatment, in connection with diabetes, excessive consumption of sweets, when using hormonal contraception with a high dose of estrogen, after bathing in dirty water or when wearing tight and impermeable underwear.

Symptoms of vaginal mycosis:

• unpleasant itching inside and outside the vagina
• swelling and tenderness of the tissues of the vagina and vulva
• burning when urinating
• whitish, curd-like vaginal discharge
• pain during intercourse and pressure and pain in the lower abdomen

Adult women and girls from 12 years of age insert 1 vaginal tablet deep into the vagina (using the applicator) once a day (preferably in the evening) for 6 consecutive days. Not suitable for use during menstruation. Do not use for more than 6 days without consulting a doctor.

The active substance is clotrimazole 100 mg in one vaginal tablet.

The other ingredients are: lactose monohydrate, corn starch, sodium bicarbonate, polysorbate 80, magnesium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silica, stearic acid 95%, adipic acid.
