Dr. Max Ambroxol syrup 30 mg/5 ml is used for acute respiratory diseases accompanied by the formation of thick viscous mucus , such as inflammation of the bronchi, larynx and trachea. The preparation increases mucus secretion in the respiratory tract, improves the transport and excretion of mucus. This results in better expectoration and relief of cough . Dr. Max Ambroxol 30 mg/5 ml with strawberry scent is suitable primarily for adults and children from 12 years of age . It can be given to children under 12 years of age only on the recommendation of a doctor.
Dosage
Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age take 5 ml 3 times a day. The effectiveness can be increased by taking 10 ml of syrup 2 times a day. If the symptoms of an acute illness do not improve within 5 days (in children within 3 days), consult a doctor about further treatment. Do not take for more than 10 days without consulting a doctor. Dr. Max Ambroxol 30 mg/5 ml can be taken with or without food. It is recommended to drink a glass of water after taking it and to increase your fluid intake during the day.
Composition
The active substance is ambroxol hydrochloride 6 mg in 1 ml of syrup.
The excipients are sodium benzoate (E 211), sorbitol (E 420), sucralose, hyetelose, citric acid monohydrate (E 330), liquid strawberry flavour 501 440 T (composed of propylene glycol (E 1520) and a mixture of essential oils) and purified water.
Notice
Dr. Max Ambroxol 30 mg/5 ml contains sorbitol. This should be taken into account if you have an intolerance to some sugars and sorbitol may have a mild laxative effect. It does not contain sugar, suitable for diabetics. After first opening, use within 6 months.
