The main cause of dandruff formation and development is a disruption of the microbial flora of the scalp, usually followed by overproduction of sebum and itching. Ichthamol acts by several mechanisms against the causes and unpleasant consequences of increased lupus. The main effects are the reduction of excess sebum production and the reduction of itching of the scalp or other parts of the body, but also against bacteria and fungi.
Ichthamol shampoo is also suitable as a supportive care for psoriasis of the scalp. It contains ingredients of olive and coconut oil and urea to prevent the skin from drying out. It is well tolerated even with prolonged use.
Use:
Apply an adequate amount of shampoo to wet hair and massage the scalp until foam is formed. Leave for a few minutes. Then rinse hair and skin thoroughly. Shampoo is recommended to apply 2-3 times a week for about 4 to 6 weeks.
