EasyTouch® strips are made for in vitro use and can only be used with the EasyTouch® device. The system is intended for home use or medical personnel  to measure sugar levels from a sample of fresh capillary (whole) blood from a finger.

The EasyTouch® Glucose Monitoring System quantitatively measures the sugar level (β-D glucose) from fresh capillary whole blood. This measurement is based on determining the current changes caused by the reaction of glucose with a reagent on the strip electrode. When the blood sample touches the target area on the strip, it is automatically drawn into the reagent zone on the strip. The measurement result will appear on the device in 10 seconds.

  • The measurement is  painless, fast and accurate
  • Simple application of the strip to the device
  • Calibration chip in each package
  • Quick measurement result
  • Self-absorbing strips

Measuring range:
20 - 600 mg/dL (1.1 - 33.3 mmol/L

The package contains 50 strips.

Dosage and method of use

To measure, you need: EasyTouch® device, coding chip, test strip, autolancet (pen).

  1. Before first use, calibrate the device with the included coding chip.
  2. Wash and dry your hands and  prepare the autolancet . Disinfect your finger with an alcohol swab.
  3. Insert the strip into the device with the contact chips facing down and towards each other . Check code consistency.
  4. The display will show a check number followed by a flashing drop. The device is ready to measure. Use an autolancet (pen) to  inject your finger . Squeeze out the required drop of blood (e.g. wipe the first drop with a tissue and squeeze out the second drop of blood). Then place your finger from the side (from the side) of the strip to the reaction site (marked by an arrow). The strip itself draws a blood sample . The window turns red.
  5. The device beeps, measures. After 10 seconds, the result will be displayed on the display, which will be automatically saved in  the device's memory.
  6. Pull the strip out of the device (it turns off automatically).  Dispose of the strip according to applicable regulations.

Glucose test results are shown on the display in either mg/dL or mmol/L.

In order to obtain accurate results, the EasyTouch® device must be coded with a coding chip.

Composition

Each EasyTouch® glucose test strip contains the following reagent:
Glucose oxidation     ≥ 1.0 IU
Non-reactive ingredients     ≥ 0.3 mg

 Notice

Do not use the strips for more than 3 months after opening the box. Always keep the box tightly closed, close it immediately after removing the strip. Always keep the strips in the original plastic box, never sell them.
