- Painful discomfort caused by wearing headphones for a long time or by earwax blocking the outer ear canal
- Painful discomfort caused by frequent use of personal hygiene products that destroy the natural membrane protecting the external auditory canal, e.g. shampoos, soaps, gels.
Effect & Application
easyear ear drops are a medical product whose effect is based on the osmotic properties of glycerin.
Glycerin has two basic properties relevant to its use in ear drops:
- the oily consistency of glycerine means that it gently adheres to the skin at the application site, allowing glycerine to develop its protective properties.
- in turn, the hygroscopicity of glycerol causes topically applied glycerol to remove water from swollen tissues (osmotic effect), resulting in a reduction in swelling and hence pain relief.
Lidocaine is used as a topical analgesic aid that enhances the effect and also relieves ear pain.
Glycerine in easyear drops softens earwax, helps to eliminate it and, thanks to its water-binding properties (osmotic effect), removes excess fluid from the ear canal tissue, eliminating the inflammatory symptoms associated with ear diseases (such as earache and swelling). .
