Enditril 100 mg 10 hard capsules

Enditrile is a medicine used to treat the symptoms of acute diarrhea in cases where it is not possible to treat the underlying cause of the disease. It is also suitable as an additional treatment in cases where treatment of the cause is possible. The product reduces excessive fluid release into the intestine, thus limiting the loss of water and salts. It can be used by adults.

The recommended dose for adults is 1 capsule 3 times a day, preferably before the main meals. On the first day, take one additional capsule with the first dose, regardless of the time of day. On the first day, the total daily dose should not exceed 4 capsules. In the following days, the total daily dose should not exceed 3 capsules. If you do not feel better within 2 days, consult your doctor about further use of the product. Take the medicine until you have two normal stools. The duration of treatment should not exceed 3 days. With diarrhea, it is important to take care of sufficient compensation for water and salt losses, preferably with an oral rehydration solution.

The active substance is racecadotril 100 mg per capsule. Excipients are lactose monohydrate, pre-swollen starch (from corn), magnesium stearate (of plant origin) and colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide. The capsule shell contains gelatin (of bovine origin), yellow iron oxide (E 172) and titanium dioxide (E 171).
