Envelope paste to relieve musculoskeletal discomfort. Enelbin® paste can be used hot or cold. With the warm application of Enelbin® paste, the long-lasting heat retention of the aluminium silicates stimulates blood circulation and tissue metabolism, thus accelerating the removal of harmful metabolic products. The diseased tissue is increasingly supplied with nutrients and oxygen for regeneration. Cold application of the Enelbin® paste, on the other hand, has an acute decongestant effect and is perceived as pleasant in acute inflammatory conditions, which are often associated with a feeling of warmth. The cooling effect of Enelbin® paste is due to the evaporation of the aqueous base and the resulting evaporative cold. When applying Enelbin® paste under a water vapour permeable dressing, such as such as gauze, this effect is not hindered.
