Enterosgel Kids is a class lla medical device. Gastrointestinal adsorbent is used for acute diarrhea and irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea . It is an oral intestinal adsorbent based on an organic mineral with adsorption capacity for some toxic and harmful substances in the intestine (e.g. endotoxins, enterotoxins), which it physically binds to its surface, thus reducing the frequency of bowel movements and the duration of diarrhea.
- It is an oral suspension indicated for the symptomatic treatment of acute diarrheal diseases, irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea (IBS-D).
- It leaves the body with the stool and thereby removes adsorbed toxins and harmful substances, which can have a beneficial effect in the treatment of indicated conditions.
- Relieves diarrhoea, abdominal pain, bloating and urge to defecate in patients with IBS-D.
- Can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It is recommended to consult your doctor if you feel unwell during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Does not contain preservatives, gluten, sugar, sweeteners, lactose, fats, flavorings, ingredients of plant or animal origin.
The package contains 90 g.
Dosage and method of use
Recommended dosage:
- Children under 1 year: 2.5g (approximately 1/2 teaspoon) diluted in 7.5-15ml of water 3 times a day.
- Children from 1 to 6 years: dilute 5g (approximately 1 teaspoon) in 50-100ml of water 3 times a day.
- Children from 7 to 14 years: dilute 10g (approximately 2 teaspoons) in 50-100ml of water 3 times a day.
- Children aged 15+ and adults: 15g to 22.5g (approximately 1 tablespoon or 1-1.5 sachets) diluted in 200ml of water 3 times a day.
In children, the treatment of diarrhea should be supplemented by the administration of a sufficient amount of fluids, or an oral rehydration solution, to avoid dehydration.
In adults, it is recommended to drink fluids or an oral rehydration solution during treatment with the product to ensure proper rehydration.
Take the required dose of the product after the first loose stool. At least 2 hours before or after taking an oral medication and at least 1-2 hours before or after a meal. Dilute the dose in room temperature water before administration. Shake the tube well before opening and after each use. Use the bag immediately after opening and use the tube within 30 days of opening.
Duration of treatment with the product:
- 3 - 5 days in case of acute diarrhoea,
- Up to 30 days for irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea. Pause between re-uses of at least 3 days.
- At the beginning of treatment (Day 1) you can double the first dose and then continue with a single dose after each bowel movement. A maximum of eight doses on the first day.
- During the treatment of chronic diarrhea, you can adjust the dosage to match the consistency and frequency of the stool. It is possible to take a double dose up to 3 times a day if the stool is loose, or reduce it to one dose once a day if the stool is normal. A maximum of six doses per day can be taken.
- Discontinue the treatment with the product if you do not have a stool for 1-2 days, increase your water intake and continue the treatment after the next stool.
Composition
Polymethylsiloxane polyhydrate 70%, purified water 30%.
Notice
Do not use if you are simultaneously taking oral medications with modified (controlled) release.
Do not use if you suffer from intestinal atony or intestinal obstruction (severe constipation due to intestinal obstruction).
Do not take less than two hours before or after taking an oral medication. It can affect the absorption of some drugs that are taken orally. If you are taking any medication, you can also consult your doctor or pharmacist regarding the use of the product.
In the case of long-lasting diarrhea, it is necessary to consult a doctor before using the product in order to establish a diagnosis of the underlying disease.
Do not exceed the recommended treatment time and do not take with food to avoid possible absorption of vitamins or nutrients.
If the diarrhea lasts more than two days, it is necessary to consult a doctor.
If you have a fever, blood in the stool, signs of dehydration, six or more stools in the last 24 hours, diarrhea and vomiting at the same time, severe or persistent abdominal pain, seek medical attention as soon as possible, especially if it is a child.
Do not exceed the recommended dose and do not exceed the recommended duration of treatment.
Please talk to your doctor if you are currently using other intestinal adsorbents, such as products that contain activated carbon, clay or kaolin. Your doctor may advise you not to take them at the same time as the product.
It is not indicated for use in case of acute chemical poisoning or drug overdose.
Do not use after the expiration date stated on the package.
