Erythritol is a table-top sweetener with polyol - alcoholic sugar. Polyol is commonly found in various fruits and fermented foods. Erythritol has a 60-70% sweetness of sucrose, but unlike it, it does not metabolize in the body and is low in calories.
The sweetener is suitable for sweetening hot and cold drinks, baking, confectionery and other delicacies.
Dosage and method of use
Take 1 teaspoon of erythritol (0 kJ per 100 g), which corresponds to approximately 2/3 teaspoon of sugar (1700 kJ per 100 g).
