Femidoc kidney and blister film-coated tablets contain extracts of bearberry leaves, birch leaves and goldenrod herb. The contained plant extracts have a slightly anti-inflammatory effect, disinfect the urinary tract and stimulate the flow of urine.

Femidoc Kidney and Bladder Film Tablets are a traditional herbal medicine for women to increase the amount of urine and to treat the symptoms of mild or recurrent infections of the urinary organs such as burning when urinating and/or frequent urination after serious causes have been ruled out by a doctor.

This medicinal product is a traditional herbal medicinal product that is only registered for the stated area of ​​application because it has been used for many years.
If you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 4 days, contact your doctor. This medicine is used in adult women aged 18 and over.

Contraindications

Femidoc kidney and bladder film tablets must not be taken

  • if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to bearberry leaves, birch leaves, birch pollen, goldenrod or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6), as well as a general allergy to daisy family.
  • in diseases where increased fluid intake is not allowed, such as certain heart or kidney diseases.

  • Adult women over 18 years: 2 film-coated tablets 2-3 times a day.

side effects

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Hypersensitivity reactions, including allergic rhinitis, as well as allergic skin reactions with itching and nettle rash, have been observed with the active ingredients contained, as well as gastrointestinal complaints with nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and diarrhea. The frequency of occurrence is not known (cannot be estimated from the available data).

composition

The active ingredients in 1 film-coated tablet are: 108 - 120 mg dry extract from bearberry leaves (Uvae ursi folium), drug-extract ratio 4.0 - 5.0:1, corresponding to 20 - 26% arbutin, extractant water, 46.25 mg dry extract from Birch leaves (Betulae folium), drug-extract ratio 4.5 - 5.5:1, extractant water and 40 mg dry extract of goldenrod herb (Solidaginis herba), drug-extract ratio 4 - 6:1, extractant ethanol 50% ( m/m).

The other ingredients are: maltodextrin, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, colloidal anhydrous silica, simethicone, talc, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E171) and macrogol 400
