Fungicidin ointment 10 g

Fungicidin ointment acts against yeasts and some other lower mushrooms. It dampens and stops their growth.

Fungicidin is used for treatment

• The yeast skin disease (Candidiasis) , which occurs most often at the sites of the lighter (between the toes of the legs, in the area of ​​the groin, on the fuselage or on the hands) and manifests most often by redness, itching, peeling of the skin with an unpleasant odor.
• The yeast inflammation of the nail bed , which is manifested by swelling and redness of the nail waves.
• Yeast infections of the vagina that show a vaginal discharge, itching, burning of the vagina or vulva, swelling and pain in the tissues of the vagina and vulva.

Fungicidin ointment can be used by adults, adolescents and children from neonatal age.

How is Fungicidin Ointment used:

Adults, adolescents and children apply a thin layer of ointment to the affected areas 2-3 times a day until healing. Treatment should be continued even after healing for a few days by applying ointment once a day.

Do not use ointment for more than 2 weeks without consulting your doctor.

Composition:

The active substance is nystatin 100,000 IU in 1 g ointment.

The other ingredients are white petroleum jelly, wool grease (lanolin), white wax, liquid paraffin, cetyl alcohol.

Notice:

Fungicidin ointment contains lanolin and cetyl alcohol, which can cause local skin reactions (eg contact dermatitis).
