Gelacan® Fast is a supplementary food with bioactive collagen peptides, Boswellia serrata extract, vitamins E, C and selenium, suitable for acute application in musculoskeletal pain in dogs.

Gelacan® Fast is especially suitable for:

• for acute musculoskeletal problems (lameness, injuries of joints, ligaments and tendons)
• in inflammation of ligaments, tendons and muscles
• after injuries and surgical procedures
• in joint stiffness in older dogs
• to improve mobility

Gelacan® Fast contains a complex of active ingredients that positively influence inflammatory processes in joint, tendon and connective tissues, increase joint mobility and reduce joint pain at rest and during movement.

Boswellia serrata extract is characterized by a high content of boswellic acids, which have anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, restore blood vessels damaged by inflammation and improve blood circulation and nutrition of affected tissues. The effect of the active ingredients in Boswellia serrata extract is to reduce pain, reduce swelling and increase joint mobility. The active ingredients help with acute disability and chronic inflammation. They also have positive effects on inflammation of muscles and tendons. The active ingredients of Boswellia serrata extract suppress tissue proliferation in inflammation and suppress the breakdown of connective tissues, including tendons. The mechanism of action is similar to that of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, but without gastrointestinal side effects.

Bioactive collagen peptides increase the production of joint collagen by 100%, alleviate or eliminate the consequences of damage to joints, ligaments and tendons. They affect the metabolism of connective tissue cells towards the synthesis of a physiological type of collagen, normalize their activity and reduce pain.

Vitamin E reduces swelling and increases joint mobility. It has an anti-inflammatory effect, inhibits prostaglandin synthesis, helps stabilize lysosomal membranes and reduces the release of enzymes damaging articular cartilage. Selenium acts synergistically with vitamin E and protects the cells of joint and tendon tissues from the harmful effects of free peroxide radicals. It helps with osteoarthritis and other joint diseases.

1.5 g per 10 kg dog weight

FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS:
The volumetric dosage is indicative and may be different due to the variability of the natural raw material. Use to reduce the musculoskeletal problems in dogs. We measure the daily dose according to the weight of the dog. Pour the product into the feed and moisten it with a small amount of water so that the product is mixed into the feed. It is advisable to administer the product daily for at least 2 months. Long-term administration is possible.
