Packaging
Probiotics for Ni are packaged in vegan hydroxypropyl methylcellulose capsules. These capsules are enteric-soluble, which means that they are soluble only in the upper part of the intestinal tract at a pH of around 5-6. They pass through the stomach, where the pH is significantly more acidic, without harm, and can therefore only work where they are supposed to.
