The correct height of the nose strip is outlined on the leaflet and on the sample cards. In order to enable an optimal mode of action, the nose strip should be placed in the middle of the nose as illustrated in the package leaflet. 
The nose strip should be slowly removed from the nose - preferably while washing your face or showering. Dampening the nose strip with some water also helps. First lift the ends slightly and then carefully pull up both sides.
