We need to pay sufficient attention to the intimate areas of our body. The normal pH of the vagina is a prerequisite for protecting intimate areas whose balance is provided by cells and beneficial bacteria that line the vagina walls. Different influences can cause a disruption of the natural acid-base balance of intimate flora, which can lead to unpleasant odors and dry vagina, in some cases infections may occur.

Changes in the life cycle, hormone formation and also sexual intercourse usually affect the balance in the vagina. One of the most common effects is the change in the hormonal level that occurs during menstruation, pregnancy and menopause. Hormonal change may be the cause of an unpleasant odorous discharge that is strongest between 9 and 15 days of the menstrual cycle. The accompanying odor is produced by bacterial degradation of lipids, carbohydrates, amino acids and proteins.

The healthy pH of the flora in the vagina is low and this acidic environment prevents the development of many harmful microbes.Female genitalia bacterial flora, Döderlein lactobacilli, and lactic acid produced by them, prevent the penetration of bacilli from the external environment into the vagina. If the pH in the vagina increases, the Döderlein lactobacilli, which like an acidic environment, lose their function and thus reduce the immunity of the intimate parts to infections.
  • GYNTIMA deo vaginal suppositories have several effects due to natural ingredients:
  • The natural ingredient Saccharomyces ferment contains enzymes that neutralize undesirable odors in the vagina. The product also contains a combination of natural fragrances that ensure a long lasting feeling of freshness.
  • GYNTIMA vaginal suppository deo, thanks to its silicone content, provides sufficient vaginal moisture, helping to feel the vagina dry. They can be used together with a condom.
  • Due to the lactic acid contained, the acid coat provides sheath protection. It forms the basis for lactic acid, which is found in the vaginal flora, thus promoting their optimal reproduction. These lactic acid producing cell cultures protect against harmful bacteria and infections. At the same time they ensure the natural vaginal balance.
