HIDRASEC 100MG 10 capsules
Hidrasec 100 mg is a medicine used to treat the symptoms of acute diarrhea in cases where it is not possible to treat the cause of the disease. It is also suitable as an adjunct treatment in cases where treatment of the cause is possible. It can be used by adults.
Dosage
The usual dose for adults is 1 capsule 3 times a day, preferably before main meals. Drink a glass of water. If you do not feel better within 2 days, talk to your doctor about taking this medicine again. Take this medicine until you have two normal stools. However, treatment should not exceed 7 days. In case of diarrhea, it is important to provide adequate compensation for water and salt losses, preferably with an oral rehydration solution.
Ingredients
The active substance is racecadotril 100 mg per capsule.
The other ingredients are lactose monohydrate, pregelatinised maize starch, magnesium stearate and colloidal anhydrous silica. The capsule contains gelatin, yellow iron oxide (E 172) and titanium dioxide (E 171).
Notice
Hydrasec contains lactose, which must be taken into account in case of intolerance to certain sugars.
