What is HYLO-PARIN®?
HYLO-PARIN® is a sterile preservative-free solution containing 1 mg / ml sodium hyaluronate, 1.300 IE / ml sodium heparin (from porcine intestinal mucosa), glycerol, citrate buffer and water.

HYLO-PARIN® moisturizes and treats the cornea and conjunctiva and relieves the surrounding eye irritation. This reduces the symptoms of redness, burning and itching .
When to use HYLO-PARIN®?
The burning, itchy, tearful eyes, the feeling of sand in the eyes or the dry eyes are the symptoms of irritated eyes. However, after the eye is over, the problem remains. This is a sign that the eye is not sufficiently moistened. The surface of a healthy eye is covered with a smooth, even tear film that keeps it completely functional and flushes away particles of dust and dirt. At the same time, the eye is burdened by external conditions and thus reduce the physiological functionality of tears. This includes staying in air-conditioned or dusty rooms or working intensively in front of the computer screen. Tears are reduced with age.
HYLO-PARIN® contains sodium hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that is found not only in the eye but also in other parts of the human body. This fabric has unique physical properties - creating a uniform, stable and long moisturizing film that adheres to the eye surface for long periods without being washed away. This bioadhesive property promotes heparin. Heparin is also a physiological substance that, with its chemical structure, resembles the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid sodium salt and heparin treat the cornea and conjunctiva, and together with natural tears moisturize the eye surface. The eye is provided with a long-lasting and stable tear film and thus protected from environmental irritation. HYLO-PARIN® is preservative-free and contains physiological substances, which is generally very well tolerated.

How often and how long should HYLO-PARIN® be used?
HYLO-PARIN® should be dosed individually at your discretion and on the advice of your eye care professional. Usually, 1 drop of HYLO-PARIN® is dripped 3 times a day into the conjunctival sac of each eye. In case of severe difficulties, HYLO-PARIN® can be dripped more often during the day. If you have to use HYLO-PARIN® more frequently (eg more than 10 times a day) and have more severe problems, have your eyes checked regularly by an ophthalmologist.
HYLO-PARIN® is intended for long-term use, but for prolonged problems (eg longer than two weeks) you should, as with all illnesses, seek the advice of your ophthalmologist.
When should HYLO-PARIN® not be used?
HYLO-PARIN® cannot be used in hypersensitivity to any of its components.
What other principles should be followed when storing HYLO-PARIN®?
Store at room temperature. After first opening, the vial contents can be used for 6 months. Do not use after the expiry date. Keep out of the reach of children.
