This product is a medical device. Please read the instructions in the package leaflet carefully and familiarize yourself with the functions and use before use.
Description:
Lubricating eye drops for moisturizing and protecting the surface of the eye with hyaluronic acid. For the relief of dryness and environmental eye discomfort such as burning, watering, and a gritty sensation. Sterile, preservative-free solution. Soothing, well-tolerated, and long-lasting. Suitable for hard and soft contact lenses.
What is Hylo-Vision Sine?
Hylo-Vision Sine is a sterile, preservative-free, low-viscosity lubricating eye drop. It contains hyaluronic acid and provides improved and long-lasting lubrication of the eye's surface. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance also found in the structures of the human eye and in the tear film, making it particularly well-tolerated. It is characterized by a high water-binding capacity, adheres well to the eye's surface (mucoadhesive properties), and is viscoelastic. Thus, Hylo-Vision Sine moisturizes, wets, and protects the eye's surface, ensuring a smooth, stable, and long-lasting film of moisture.
Hylo-Vision Sine eye drops are very well suited for relieving minor irritations, dryness, and environmental discomfort of the eye, such as burning, tearing, and a gritty sensation.
Hylo-Vision Sine is also well-suited for wetting contact lenses, significantly improving wearing comfort.
Hylo-Vision Sine can be used for the following indications:
- in cases of dry eyes, such as those caused by Sjögren's syndrome
- environmental stress, e.g. from air conditioning, wind, cold, dryness or air pollution, for example from cigarette smoke
- For fatigue and eye strain caused by intensive viewing, e.g., at computer screens, microscopes, or long car journeys
- in the case of mechanical stress, e.g. by wearing hard or soft contact lenses.
When should you not use Hylo-Vision Sine?
If you have a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
Who is Hylo-Vision Sine suitable for?
- Suitable for use with adolescents and adults.
- Pregnant women, breastfeeding women and young children should consult their doctor before using Hylo-Vision Sine.
What side effects can occur when using Hylo-Vision Sine?
After application, a temporary impairment of visual acuity (blurred vision) may occur. In this case, you should not drive or operate machinery. It is recommended to wait until normal visual acuity has returned.
Immediately after instilling the drops, temporary symptoms such as a slight burning sensation in the eyes may occur.

How is Hylo-Vision Sine used?
For external use only.
Step 1:
Wash your hands before using Hylo-Vision Sine.
Step 2:
Detach one single-dose container from the strip. Make sure each single-dose container is undamaged.
Step 3:
To open, twist off the flat end of the single-dose container (do not pull).
Step 4:
Now tilt your head back (neck position) and gently pull down your lower eyelid with your free hand. Instill one or two drops of Hylo-Vision Sine into the conjunctival sac of each eye. Be careful not to touch your eyes with the single-dose container. Close your eyes slowly so that Hylo-Vision Sine can spread evenly across the surface of the eye.
Alternatively, if using the drops with contact lenses, apply one or two drops to each contact lens before inserting it into your eyes, instead of putting the drops directly into your eyes.
Hylo-Vision Sine can also be used while wearing contact lenses.
Once the single-dose container is opened, Hylo-Vision Sine can be used for twelve hours (12 h). The single-dose containers should be resealed after opening.
How often and for how long should you use Hylo-Vision Sine?
Use Hylo-Vision Sine as needed or as directed by your doctor.
Hylo-Vision Sine is suitable for long-term use; however, as with any condition, you should consult an ophthalmologist if symptoms persist.
If you are also using other topical eye treatments, there should be an interval of approximately 30 minutes between applications.
Hylo-Vision Sine should be applied after the other products.
