For intensive lubrication and long-lasting relief from discomfort such as mechanical stress caused by environmental irritants and after eye surgery and diagnostic procedures.

Sterile, phosphate-free solution. Soothing, well-tolerated, and long-lasting. Suitable for hard and soft contact lenses.

What is Hylo-Vision Gel Multi?

Hylo-Vision Gel Multi is a sterile, phosphate-free, and highly viscous wetting agent in a multi-dose container.

Hylo-Vision Gel Multi contains hyaluronic acid and provides improved and long-lasting lubrication of the ocular surface. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance also found in the structures of the human eye and in the tear film, making it particularly well-tolerated. It is characterized by its high water-binding capacity, adheres well to the eye's surface (mucoadhesive properties), and is viscoelastic. Hylo-Vision Gel Multi thus intensively moisturizes, wets, and protects the eye's surface, ensuring a smooth, stable, and exceptionally long-lasting film of moisture. Hylo-Vision Gel Multi is ideal for severe and chronic dryness, as well as for use after eye surgery and diagnostic procedures. It provides long-lasting relief from discomfort caused by mechanical stress from environmental irritants, irritations, and other factors.

Hylo-Vision Gel Multi is also well-suited for wetting contact lenses, significantly improving wearing comfort.

Polyhexanide, contained in Hylo-Vision Gel Multi, is a gentle preservative that, thanks to its antimicrobial properties, effectively protects against contamination of the solution while being very well tolerated.

Hylo-Vision Gel Multi can be used for the following indications:

Highly viscous lubricating solution for long-lasting corneal protection; transparent, sterile, and viscoelastic. Hylo-Vision Gel Multi protects, moisturizes, and softens the ocular surface, thus ensuring long-lasting relief from discomfort such as:

• mechanical stress, such as during and after the use of contact lenses, after surgery and diagnostic procedures on the eye
• Environmental stimuli, such as air-conditioned rooms, cold wind, dry or polluted air, cigarette smoke
• visual stress, such as prolonged screen time, working with a microscope, driving
• Lack of lubrication of the anterior eye area (cornea-conjunctival)
• dry eyes, which can be caused by conditions such as Sjögren's syndrome.

When should you not use Hylo-Vision Gel Multi?
If you have a known hypersensitivity (allergy) to any of the ingredients.

Who is Hylo-Vision Gel Multi suitable for?

• Suitable for use with adolescents and adults.
• Pregnant women, breastfeeding women and young children should consult their doctor before using Hylo-Vision Gel Multi.

What side effects can occur when using Hylo-Vision Gel Multi?

• After application, a temporary impairment of visual acuity (blurred vision) may occur. In this case, you should not drive or operate machinery. It is recommended to wait until normal visual acuity has returned.
• Immediately after instilling the drops, temporary symptoms such as a slight burning sensation in the eyes may occur.

What precautions and warnings should be observed?

• Do not use if container is damaged.
• The preparation is sterile until the bottle is opened and should be used for a maximum of 90 days after first opening.
• Hylo-Vision Gel Multi is intended for external use on the eye only and is not for oral ingestion.
• Carefully close the bottle after use and ensure that the dropper does not come into contact with other objects or body parts to protect it from contamination, and that the tip of the dropper does not come into contact with the eye.
• Do not use as the sole treatment for an eye infection.
• The same multi-dose container must not be used by multiple patients.
• Hylo-Vision Gel Multi is not suitable as a storage solution for contact lenses.
• In case of unwanted effects, discontinue use of the product and consult a doctor.
• Before combining Hylo-Vision Gel Multi with other eye preparations, please consult your ophthalmologist or doctor.
• Hylo-Vision Gel Multi should be kept out of the reach of children.
• The product must not be used after the expiry date shown on the label and the carton.

How do I use Hylo-Vision Gel Multi?

For external use only.

Step 1:
Wash and dry your hands thoroughly. To open, turn the screw cap counterclockwise until the safety seal breaks.

Step 2:
Hold the bottle upside down and instill one or two drops into the conjunctival sac of each eye. Blinking will distribute the solution and form a clear layer of fluid on the surface of the eye.

Step 3:
Replace the cap after use.

Alternatively, if using with contact lenses, apply one or two drops to each contact lens before inserting them into your eyes, rather than putting the drops directly into your eyes.

Hylo-Vision Gel Multi can also be used while wearing contact lenses.

How often and for how long should I use Hylo-Vision Gel Multi?
Use Hylo-Vision Gel Multi as needed or as directed by your doctor.

Hylo-Vision Gel Multi is suitable for long-term use; however, as with all conditions, you should consult an ophthalmologist if symptoms persist.

If you are also using other topical eye treatments, there should be an interval of approximately 30 minutes between applications. Hylo-Vision Gel Multi should be applied after the other products.

The following pack sizes are available:
10 ml eye drops and 2 x 10 ml multi-dose containers.

What are the storage and disposal instructions?
Store between 5°C and 25°C.

Protect from frost and direct sunlight.

The lot number and expiry date can be found on the bottle and the outer carton.

Once opened, Hylo-Vision Gel Multi can be used for 90 days.

Hylo-Vision Gel Multi can be disposed of with household waste.

Composition:
Sodium hyaluronate (0.30%), polyhexanide (0.0001%), disodium edetate (EDTA), sodium chloride, buffered isotonic solution (pH 7.2), purified water.
