Suitable for hard and soft contact lenses.

What is Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Vital?
Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Vital is a sterile, phosphate-free wetting agent in the innovative Safe-Drop system, a preservative-free, multi-dose container co-developed by OmniVision. The practical, wide finger rest allows for optimal application. Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Vital contains hyaluronic acid and eyebright tincture and serves to moisturize and lubricate the surface of the eye. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance also found in the structures of the human eye and in the tear film, making it particularly well-tolerated. It is characterized by a high water-binding capacity, adheres well to the eye's surface (mucoadhesive properties), and is viscoelastic. Eyebright extracts have, among other things, antioxidant and soothing properties: they have been used in folk medicine since the Middle Ages to alleviate discomfort such as conjunctival and eyelid irritation, as well as watery eyes. Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Vital thus moisturizes, lubricates, and protects the surface of the eye. Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Vital eye drops provide relief and soothe irritated or dry eyes. The eye drops are also well-suited for wetting contact lenses, significantly improving wearing comfort.

Composition:
Sodium hyaluronate (0.15%), eyebright tincture (0.05%), sodium chloride, sodium citrate dihydrate, citric acid monohydrate, purified water.

Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Vital can be used for the following indications:

• For irritated or dry eyes caused by wearing contact lenses.
• When tired.
• during prolonged computer work.
• when staying in smoky rooms.
• when exposed to general environmental influences such as dust particles, pollen, etc.

When should you not use Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Vital?
If you have a known hypersensitivity (allergy) to any of the ingredients.

Who is Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Vital suitable for?
Suitable for use in adolescents and adults. Pregnant women, breastfeeding women, and young children should consult their doctor before using Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Vital.

What side effects can occur when using Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Vital?
After use, you may experience temporary blurred vision (blurred vision). In this case, you should not drive or operate machinery. It is recommended to wait until normal vision has returned. Temporary symptoms, such as a slight burning sensation in the eyes, may occur immediately after instilling the drops.

What precautions and warnings should be observed?
Do not use the bottle if it is damaged. Check that the bottle is intact before first opening it to ensure the sterility of the contents. To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip. To avoid injury or eye infection, take care not to touch the eye with the dropper. The dropper tip of the multi-dose container should not touch any other objects or body parts. Close after use. Do not swallow the solution. Do not use as the sole treatment for an eye infection. The same multi-dose container should not be used by multiple patients. Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Vital is not suitable as a storage solution for contact lenses. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult an eye doctor/specialist. Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Vital should be kept out of the reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date.

How to use Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Vital:
For external use only. Wash and dry hands before use.

Step 1:
Before first use, please record the date the bottle was opened in the space provided on the bottle label. Remove the protective cap before each use.

Step 2:
Before first use, please squeeze the SafeDrop bottle several times until the first drop is produced. Hold the bottle upside down as shown in the illustration. Please avoid any contact between the dropper tip and your fingers or eye.

Step 3:
Hold the bottle as shown in the picture. Ensure that your thumb rests on the wide, non-slip, round finger rest.

Step 4:
Now tilt your head back slightly (neck position) and gently pull down your lower eyelid with your free hand. Instill one or two drops of Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Vital into the conjunctival sac of each eye by pressing the pump mechanism once or twice. Ensure the bottle is held vertically. Close your eyes slowly so that Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Vital can spread evenly across the surface of the eye. Alternatively, if using the drops with contact lenses, apply one or two drops to each contact lens before inserting it into your eyes, instead of instilling the drops directly into your eyes. Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Vital can also be used while wearing contact lenses. After use, replace the protective cap on the multi-dose container.

How often and for how long should you use Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Vital?
Use Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Vital as needed or as directed by your doctor. Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Vital is suitable for long-term use; however, as with all conditions, you should consult an ophthalmologist if symptoms persist. If you are also using other local eye treatments, there should be an interval of approximately 30 minutes between applications. Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Vital should be applied after the other products. If needed, instill 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac of each eye and distribute them by blinking.

The following pack sizes are available:
Eye drops in 10 ml SafeDrop multi-dose containers. Eye drops in 5 ml SafeDrop multi-dose containers. It is possible that not all pack sizes are currently available.

What are the storage and disposal instructions?
Store between 5°C and 25°C. Protect from frost and direct sunlight.

The lot number and expiry date can be found on the bottle and the outer carton. Once opened, Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Vital can be used for six months. Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Vital can be disposed of with household waste.
