Hypromel 2.5% 1 x 2ml ophthalmic solution
Hypromel 2.5% is a sterile viscoelastic, clear, isotonic, preservative-free hydroxypropylmethylcellulose solution for use in ophthalmic surgery. Injected into the anterior chamber during anterior segment surgery, it forms and maintains anterior chamber depth and provides mechanical protection by sensitive eye tissues, especially the corneal endothelium. HYPROMEL 2.5% also helps in the implantation of artificial intraocular lenses.
The product is inert and non-toxic to living tissues. It does not cause inflammatory reactions. It has no immunogenic, teratogenic or mutagenic properties.
Dosage and method of use
The usual dosage is 0.5 ml to 1 ml.
Ingredients
The product contains Hydroxypropylmethylcellulos (hypromellos) 25 mg per ml.
Excipients: Sodium chloride, Kalii chloride, Calcium chloride, Magnesia chloride, Natrium acetate, Natrium citras, Aqua ad iniectability.
