Imodium 20 capsules

Imodium is used for sudden (acute) diarrhea. It thickens stools and reduces its frequency. Imodium capsules are for adults, adolescents and children from 6 years.

How to use Imodium:

Adults and adolescents take 2 capsules at a time, then 1 capsule after each loose stool, up to 8 capsules per 24 hours. Children from 6 years of age take 1 capsule first, then 1 capsule after each loose stool. Never exceed the maximum recommended daily dose per kg of the child's body weight! Children from 14 kg can take a maximum of 2 capsules a day, 20 kg 3 capsules, 27 kg 4 capsules, 34 kg 5 capsules, 40 kg 6 capsules, 47 kg 7 capsules and 54 kg 8 capsules a day. If there is no improvement in acute diarrhea within 2 days, consult your doctor.

Ingredients:

The active substance is loperamide hydrochloride 2 mg per capsule.

The other ingredients are lactose monohydrate, corn starch, talc, magnesium stearate, gelatin, titanium dioxide (E171), indigo carmine (E132), yellow iron oxide (E172), black iron oxide (E172), erythrosine sodium (E127).
