Imodium Rapid 2 mg 6 tablets

Imodium Rapid is used for sudden (acute) diarrhea. It thickens stools and reduces its frequency. Imodium Rapid is for adults, adolescents and children over 6 years.

Dosage

Adults and adolescents take 2 tablets at a time, then 1 tablet after each loose stool, maximum 8 tablets per 24 hours. Children from 6 years of age take 1 tablet first, then 1 tablet after each loose stool. Never exceed the maximum recommended daily dose per kg of the child's body weight! Children from 14 kg can take a maximum of 2 tablets daily, from 20 kg 3 tablets, from 27 kg 4 tablets, from 34 kg 5 tablets, from 40 kg 6 tablets, from 47 kg 7 tablets and from 54 kg 8 tablets daily.Imodium Rapid tablets are placed on the tongue where they dissolve quickly. It does not have to be drunk. If there is no improvement in acute diarrhea within 2 days, consult your doctor.

Ingredients

The active substance is loperamide hydrochloride 2 mg per tablet.

The other ingredients are gelatin, mannitol, aspartame, sodium bicarbonate and mint flavor.
