Irigasin is a medical device designed to prepare a solution for rinsing the nose and paranasal sinuses.

Irigasin allows the preparation of both isotonic and hypertonic solutions depending on the needs of the patient.

Infant 1-2 weeks: 90 ml of boiled water + 3 flat scoops of powder, 7 feedings per day.

The isotonic sodium chloride solution cleans the nasal cavities from accumulated discharge, bacteria, viruses and allergens and cares for the nose and sinuses in case of:

- acute or chronic inflammation of the paranasal sinuses

- runny nose during an infection or allergy

- before and after operations on the nose and paranasal sinuses

- after exposure to a high concentration of dust in the air

- as a preventive measure to maintain proper hygiene of the nose and paranasal sinuses

Another advantage of the isotonic solution is the moisturizing effect on the nasal mucosa dried as a result of long-term use of nasal medications or as a result of staying in air-conditioned or excessively heated spaces.

In addition to the cleansing effect, the hypertonic sodium chloride solution also has osmotic properties, thanks to which it reduces the swelling of the mucous membrane, thanks to the higher concentration of the active substance. It is therefore recommended for swelling of the nose that accompanies a runny nose due to infection or allergy (hay fever), as well as inflammation of the paranasal sinuses.

How to handle the product:

Adults and children over 4 years: nasal and sinus irrigation should be performed 1-2 times a day or as recommended by the doctor. Children can use the product independently only under the supervision of an adult. Before using the product in children under the age of 4, you should consult a doctor.

- To prepare an isotonic solution, pour 1 bag of powder into the bottle and then fill it with boiled, cooled water to the marked line (240 ml).

- To prepare a hypertonic solution, pour 2 bags of powder into the bottle and then top it up with boiled, cooled water to the marked line (240 ml).

For rinsing, use only the bottle included in the Irigasin package (irrigator + 12 bags). Do not use if the bottle is damaged. A fresh solution must be prepared for each rinse. The product can be used by pregnant and breastfeeding women. The product does not affect the ability to drive or operate machinery.
