L-Mesitran is a pioneering medical honey product for the treatment of wounds, leg ulcers, bedsores and burns. It has antibacterial properties. L-Mesitran Tulle can be used for superficial and acute wounds, eg cuts, abrasions and transplantation sites, first and second degree burns, chronic wounds, eg bedsores, leg ulcers, arterial and diabetic ulcers, malignant wounds (support deodorization) and / or cleansing), for colonized acute wounds and (postoperative) surgical wounds. L-Mesitran Tulle is a primary wound dressing that should be covered with commonly used secondary dressings. The properties of L-Mesitran Tulle prevent the secondary siding from sticking to the bottom of the wound.
Dosage and method of use
Inspect the wound and clean if necessary according to local procedures. Remove the L-Mesitran Tulle from the pouch and adjust to the desired size if necessary. Peel the cladding from both paper substrates and apply to the wound. Cover and fix with a suitable secondary lining depending on the amount of fluid coming out of the wound. Check the wound and surrounding tissues regularly as required by local procedures. In case of incompatibility of the tile or any of its components, remove it by appropriate techniques and clean the area thoroughly. Always consult your doctor for proper wound care procedures.
Ingredients
L-Mesitran Tulle contains 40% medical honey, medical hypoallergenic lanolin (Medilan), propylene glycol, PEG 4000 and vitamins C and E.
Notice
No contraindications are known yet. Do not use in patients who are sensitive to the compress or one of its constituents.
