LAVANID Wound Gel V is a sterile, preserved wound gel based on Ringer's solution, with 0.04% polyhexanide for preservation. Polyhexanide is characterized by very good tissue tolerance. In addition to cleaning and moisturizing wounds, the gel is also suitable as a preservative dressing, for example, in wounds populated by multi-resistant problematic germs.
Clinical studies have shown that the regeneration of healthy tissues is not affected during use, as there is no local irritation. Application is painless. Due to the good tissue tolerance, the gel is suitable for repeated and long-term wound treatment.

Dosage and method of use
Apply the gel as needed. Apply it either directly to the wound after cleansing and preparation or apply it to the dressing before the dressing is placed over the wound and dressed as usual.
Composition
Ringer's solution, glycerin, macrogol, hydroxyethyl cellulose, 0.04% polyhexanide.
